Find what one amount grows to
=A2*(1+B2)^C2How it works in Excel
- A2 is the starting amount.
- (1+B2) is one year of growth.
- ^C2 repeats that for each year.
- Excel does the power first, then the multiplication.
- For regular deposits, use FV.
The idea in general
Growth stacks up, so each year grows from a bigger starting point.
What I assumed
- The amount is in A2, the yearly rate is in B2 and the years are in C2.
