Count values in a bin or range
=COUNTIFS(B2:B6,">="&E2,B2:B6,"<"&F2)How it works in Excel
- B2:B6 is your data.
- E2 is the bottom of the bin.
- F2 is the top of the bin.
- Using < at the top stops a value being counted twice.
- To draw one, go to Insert, then Charts, then Histogram.
The idea in general
It sorts values into buckets, so you can see how they are spread.
What I assumed
- Your numbers are in B2:B6, and the bin limits are in E2 and F2.
Check the result on your own data before relying on it.
