Save a sheet as a CSV file
What to do
- Go to File, then Save As.
- Choose a folder.
- Under the file type, choose CSV UTF-8.
- Click Save.
Good to know
- A CSV keeps only the active sheet, with no formulas or formatting.
- Keep your original .xlsx file as well.

A CSV is plain text that almost any program can open.
