Sort my data
What to do
- Click any cell in the column you want to sort by.
- Go to Data, then click A to Z or Z to A.
- For more than one level, click Sort and add a level.
Good to know
- Do not select just one column, or that column will separate from the rest of its row.
- Blank rows split your data, so remove them first.
The idea in general
Putting a list in order makes the top, the bottom and any repeats easy to find.
What I assumed
- You are using Excel on a computer. Menus can look a little different on a Mac or in a browser.
