How do I...
Add the same cell across many sheets
What to do
- Click the cell for the total, and type =SUM(.
- Click the first sheet's tab.
- Hold Shift and click the last sheet's tab.
- Click the cell to add, then press Enter.
Good to know
- It will look like =SUM(Jan:Dec!B2).
- Every sheet between the two tabs is included.
- Each sheet needs the same layout.
The idea in general
It stacks the sheets like pages, and adds straight down through one spot.
What I assumed
- You are using Excel on a computer. Menus can look a little different on a Mac or in a browser.
