Flip rows into columns
What to do
- Copy the cells.
- Right-click an empty cell and choose Paste Special.
- Tick Transpose and click OK.
Good to know
- This pasted copy does not update.
- The formula =TRANSPOSE(A1:C3) does update, in Excel 2021 or Microsoft 365.
The idea in general
It turns the block on its side, so across becomes down.
