Fit long text inside a cell
What to do
- Select the cells.
- Go to Home, then Wrap Text.
Good to know
- To choose where the line breaks, press Alt+Enter while typing.
- If the row stays short, double-click the bottom edge of its row number.
The idea in general
The text moves down onto more lines instead of running out of the cell.
What I assumed
- You are using Excel on a computer. Menus can look a little different on a Mac or in a browser.
