Pull out the last word

How it works in Excel

• A2 is the text.
• " " is the marker to look for.
• -1 means count from the end, so it uses the last space.
• It needs Microsoft 365.
• You can use any marker, such as "\" in a file path.

The idea in general

You start at the end of the text and stop at the first gap.

What I assumed

• The text is in A2 and spaces separate the words.
