The basics
Always round up or always round down
=ROUNDUP(A2,0)How it works in Excel
- ROUNDUP always goes up, even from 3.1.
- 0 means no decimal places.
- Use ROUNDDOWN to always go down.
- This is useful when you can only buy whole items.
- MROUND, CEILING.MATH and FLOOR.MATH round to a multiple, such as the nearest 5.
The idea in general
If you need 3.2 boxes, you have to buy 4.
What I assumed
- The number is in A2.
Check the result on your own data before relying on it.
