Add and count
Add up numbers that meet two or more conditions
=SUMIFS(C2:C5,A2:A5,E2,B2:B5,F2)How it works in Excel
- C2:C5 is the column to add. It comes first in SUMIFS.
- A2:A5 must match E2.
- B2:B5 must match F2.
- A row only counts if every condition is met.
- You can keep adding pairs of range and condition.
- For a test on a number, join it like this: ">="&F2.
- The order differs from SUMIF, where the sum column comes last.
The idea in general
Same idea as adding up one category, but each row has to pass every test.
What I assumed
- Conditions are in columns A and B, numbers are in column C, and what you want is in E2 and F2.
Check the result on your own data before relying on it.
