Split text into separate columns

How it works in Excel

• A2 is the text.
• "," is the marker that separates the pieces.
• Each piece flows into its own cell to the right.
• Keep the cells to the right empty.
• It needs Microsoft 365. On older versions, use Data, then Text to Columns.

The idea in general

It cuts one long string into pieces wherever the marker appears.

What I assumed

• The text is in A2, separated by commas.
