Count working days between dates
=NETWORKDAYS(A2,B2)How it works in Excel
- A2 is the start date.
- B2 is the end date.
- Saturdays and Sundays are left out.
- Both the start and end dates are counted.
- Add a list of holidays as a third item to skip those too.
- NETWORKDAYS.INTL lets you choose different weekend days.
The idea in general
It counts the days on a calendar, but skips the days nobody works.
What I assumed
- The start date is in A2 and the end date is in B2.
