Fix an error
Understand the #DIV/0! error
What to do
- #DIV/0! means a formula is dividing by zero or by an empty cell.
- Check the cell you are dividing by.
- If it may be empty for now, wrap the formula: =IFERROR(A2/B2,"").
Good to know
- AVERAGE on empty cells gives this error too.
- Fix the data if it should not be zero, because IFERROR only hides the message.
The idea in general
Sharing something among zero people has no answer.
What I assumed
- You are using Excel on a computer. Menus can look a little different on a Mac or in a browser.
