Fix an error
Fix the #N/A error
What to do
- #N/A means a lookup could not find what you asked for.
- Check that the item is really in the list.
- Look for extra spaces, and fix them with TRIM.
- Check that both sides are real numbers or both are text.
Good to know
- To show a message instead, use XLOOKUP's fourth item, or IFNA.
- With VLOOKUP, make sure the last item is FALSE.
The idea in general
You asked for something that is not on the list.
What I assumed
- You are using Excel on a computer. Menus can look a little different on a Mac or in a browser.
